By exploring how sea turtles are intricately woven into the fabric of coastal environments and human cultures, this theme encourages collaboration between conservationists, researchers, social scientists, and members of the turtle-loving public.
The West Coast Sea Turtle Symposium is sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), The Living Coast Discovery Center, SoCal Sea Turtles, Inc., the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
